A lot of people before me already made a point about why it"s so amazing, so I will focus on points that were bothering me instead. The first four doors are kinda weak, being carried out mostly by the atmosphere (amazing score & artstyle create an impression like the mansion is indeed travelling through different time periods), the inclusion of timed choices without any indication that those choices are timed is a bit weird and the pacing is all over the place with important story events being interrupted by ridiculously long flashbacks. I would prefer there be fewer retconned plot points throughout the story. In terms of the individual doors/stories, Door 1 didn"t have much happen, though this may have been intentional. I like the graphics. I liked the music, as well, although I would much prefer there to lớn be no lyrics, since I was already hearing the words of the characters in my mind as I read. I would prefer there be fewer retconned plot points throughout the story. In terms of the individual doors/stories, Door 1 didn"t have much happen, though this may have been intentional. Some topics of familial pressure & parental emotional abandonment were there, however, which was interesting.
