How to use it

Dispense 3-4 pumps into your hands.

My thoughts on Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil

Kose is a Japanese brand & I haven’t tried any products from this brand before.

Always when I use makeup I start with an oil cleanser. My skin type is super dry so using oil cleansers is absolutely the best match for my skin. I bởi double cleanse whenever I have been using more makeup, during summer time, or when I just feel like a deeper cleanse. Since my skin is really dry I tend lớn stay away from too much foam cleansing during winter time.

It comes in a large pump bottle and there is really nothing negative lớn say about it. It just screams J- beauty lớn me. You get a lot of product for the money.

When I ordered this one I only went for the popularity of it và didn’t really know that they had different versions. If I would have known I would have gone for the deep version due lớn my ddry skin type.

Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil is really lightweight & it is a really nice cleansing oil lớn use. But that doesn’t mean that I love it.

I don’t use heavy makeup very often, but I bởi vì use light cover foundation or BB cream, blush, mascara & eye brow products. & what I normally would vày is that I remove my eye makeup first with an eye makeup remover first and then I use the oil cleanser for my face. This product does claim lớn remove eye makeup as well. But I really don’t think it is very effective in doing this.

I need lớn massage my eye area for a really long time lớn get the mascara lớn dissolve & still I need lớn wipe with a cotton pad after rinsing my face lớn get the mascara out. By doing this I feel that I rub my eyes way too much and I get a lot of oil cleanser into my eyes which will blur the vision for a while.

As for its capability to cleanse the rest of my face. I am not super impressed either. I have a test video clip on YouTube and Instagram where you can see how it went.

If you use heavier makeup you absolutely have to lớn double cleanse after using it. Since I really don’t think it cleanses that well. As for a first cleanser (using a foam cleanser after) it is enough. It does a Ok job in cleansing my makeup away (I don’t use heavy makeup) & it doesn’t leave any oily residues on my skin.

So is this one not worth it? Well it is if you don’t use it as a eye makeup remover and if you double cleanse. The answer will be yes. Is it the best cleansing oil? The answer would be no.

Conclusion

If you double cleanse this is a nice cleanser. I would not repurchase this version but I would rather go for the deep version instead since I feel that it is a better option for my skin type.
