Elf Matte Lip Color In Praline Review

Welcome to lớn another E.L.F. Lip hàng hóa review! This time, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the E.L.F. Matte Lip Colors. These cost $3 in the USA, and there are 13 colors. I’ll only be reviewing specifically the colors I have, since I cannot speak for the others.

Ironically, it looks to be more of a berry/red color than a pure red, at least, in my opinion.

Review:

Comfort & Lasting Time:

These lip colors are pretty comfortable, & it’s quite comfortable even lớn wear them over the duration of multiple hours. They are a little bit more drying than the Moisturizing Lipstick line, but not by much. During the day of this reviews that I wrote, I wore the color “Wine.” It lasted mostly well as I drank water, but eating really destroyed it, so I would definitely recommend that you take the lip màu sắc with you if you have khổng lồ eat a meal. (Be careful lớn make sure the cap doesn’t come loose, though.)

I also lượt thích how, because these are lip pencil/crayons, as well as a lip color, they are easy to use for lining the lips, và precision is easier to lớn achieve. For the duration test, I wore my favorite shade, “Wine.”

As you can see, this lipstick doesn’t quite fare well with eating, & the inner portion especially was affected.

Appearance và Color:

From the E.L.F. Website, these are the colors available:

From left to lớn right, these are: “Tea Rose,” “Natural,” “Praline,” “Wine,” “Cranberry,” “Berry Sorbet,” Hot Commodity,” “Dash of Pink,” “Fuchsia,” “Scarlet Night,” “Mulberry Maven,” and, lastly, “Rowdy Rogue.” (P.S, Rowdy Rouge has an “X” through it since it’s out of stock during the time of this screenshot.)

They are called the “Matte Lip Colors,” but they are not completely matte. I would hotline them a semi-matte.

In my opinion, the màu sắc selection is nice. But if you are the kind of person who likes lighter lipsticks or nude lipsticks, they don’t really have many in this category. If you lượt thích bold colors or deep colors, though, they vì have plenty of those, as you can see.

If you’re seeking a nice, affordable lip màu sắc in various bold shades, I recommend these, và I think they’re quite good for $3. As I said before, if you have khổng lồ dine anywhere while wearing these, I would highly recommend keeping them with you, along with a mirror, so that you can re-do it as needed. Also, these lip colors are not transfer-proof.

Overall, I think these lip colors/crayons are pretty good, and I think the colors of the three that I have right now are pretty, and comfortable enough khổng lồ wear for a long duration, although touch-ups are needed after meals. If you want a simple, comfortable lip color, these will likely not disappoint you. They’re also great for if you want to lớn experiment with new or bolder colors than you usually wear. I think the pigmentation is pretty good for the colors I have, though some lipstick lines tend khổng lồ have patchiness problems with some dark shades, so I would make sure to kiểm tra reviews for a certain màu sắc of these before buying, just in case.

Also, just a tip! At the back of the lip color crayon, there is a cap with a màu sắc on it. When you unscrew the colored cap it contains a sharpener that you can use to re-sharpen the lip pencil. :3
