Hi everyone. I’m continuing with my series of TBS product review this week. Today I’m reviewing the day lotion for oily skin from The body Shop Tea Tree range. Read on to know more, and how it fared on me.
Packaging: The body toàn thân Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing lotion comes in a cute, small flip-top tube, which is light-green in color. The label on which brand và product name & all other information is written is dark green in color. The colors on the pack resemble the other products’ packaging from this range. The flip-top cap is translucent white, & is sturdy. It is easy to travel with. But lượt thích all other tubes, some product which remains at the edges of the tube dries up to form a ring at the mouth of the tube.
Ingredients*: Aqua (Solvent/Diluent), Cyclopentasiloxane (Skin-Conditioning Agent/Emollient), Cyclohexasiloxane (Chelating Agent), Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate (Absorbent/Anticaking Agent), Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer (Viscosity Increasing Agent), Caprylyl Glycol (Skin Conditioning Agent), Acrylamide/Ammonium Acrylate Copolymer (Binder), Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil (Natural Additive), Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil (Skin Conditioning Agent), Polyisobutene (Binder), Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer (Stabiliser/Viscosity Modifier), Salix Alba Bark Extract (Natural Additive), Polysorbate 20 (Emulsifier), Sorbitan Isostearate (Emulsifier), Sodium Hydroxide (pH Adjuster), Limonene (Natural Additive), Laureth-4 (Emulsifier/Surfactant), Citral (Natural Additive), Leptospermum Petersonii Oil (Natural Additive), Tocopherol (Antioxidant).
Consistency/ fragrance: The toàn thân Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing lotion is a milky white lotion. The consistency is not too thin, not too thick. On applying to lớn the skin, it gets absorbed completely, leaving the skin feeling moisturised but still matte. The fragrance is lượt thích all other products from this range, and is not over-powering or long staying.
My experience with The toàn thân Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing lotion: Well this is my HG moisturiser. It is weightless on the skin, does not clog the pores, controls acne, in conjunction with other products from this range, & keeps the face mattified for some time. The oil control properties last for around 2 hours on me, và for 4-5 hours in an air-conditioned environment, but that’s passable till it keeps the acne away. I’m just so happy without acne, that I don’t mind applying compact every 3-4 hours.
